These 3 principles will guide you:
1) Fairness – an act of treating everyone as they wish. I have heard people say equally, forgetting that “A may not wish you to treat them the way you have treated B”. B may be saying, treat me how I wish to be treated not how you think you should treat me. Rick Riordan shared : Fairness does not mean everyone get the same, fairness means everyone gets what they need.
2) Integrity – Having integrity is by choice and it is a principle when one lives by, is honourable. A man of integrity will ensure fairness in all circumstances and uphold unquestionable moral principles. C.S. Lewis posits that integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
3) Justice – When you think of the one that judges all human being, (God) you will reverence fairness and integrity, when you are aware you reap what you sow, you will show fairness at all times. Theodore Roosevelt says “justice consists not in being neutral between right and wrong, but in finding out the right and upholding it, wherever found, against the wrong.
Fairness is administered through justice and it requires integrity to be noble-minded, upright and trustworthy.
